Bokura Ga Ita episode 14
Takeuchi ups the ante while Yano tries to get Nanami back…it’s pretty exciting stuff by the show’s own standards but I’m now looking forward to seeing the whole series wrapped up. It’s an interesting examination of the ‘after the break-up’ situation but the almost-painful slowness of Bokura Ga Ita ensures that it stays on my ‘current’ list only by the skin of its metaphorical teeth.
If nothing else there’s more humour to be had in this episode, which is a welcome change after the shovelfuls of angst that the series has served in recent outings; there’s only one short moment of the Yuri GlareTM, for instance. The efforts that Nanami’s best friend Mizu-chin takes to give Nanami and Takeuchi the opportunity to work things out are amusing (includes a small puppy to boost the ‘kawaii’ factor), as is Take’s way of brushing off Yano’s threats.
I’m not sure whether Take’s too taken by Nanami to care or whether he doesn’t actually believe that Yano will clobber him, but he’s pretty determined to win her over. Of course, various things get in the way - unfortunately that’s hardly unexpected. The Badly Timed Phone Call is possibly the oldest trick in the book for stalling progression of romantic happenings, so I was almost audiably groaning with disappointment when Yano rang Take just when the conversation with Nanami was getting somewhere.
It looks like there are only sixteen episodes in total so there are just two more to go before everything is supposed to be resolved. It’s not that I’m not enjoying this show per se, but I’m a little relieved when I think that the mess that Nanami, Yano and Takeuchi are in could be sorted out soon so we can all move on.

Bokura ga Ita will not be 16 episodes long at all, 24 or 26 most likely. See the ‘On Air’ section at the official page: http://www.bokuragaita.com/onair/index.html - Even without knowing Japanese (like myself) you can see the dates for future episodes: Nov 3, Nov 10, Nov 17, Nov 24, Dec 1, etc. I don’t know how long it will last, but it will certainly be longer than 16 eps for sure. ANN only adds episodes when they have the names and dates in which they aired/will air, which is why that list is incomplete at the moment.

I so wanna see already the next episode and i dono why but i thout that episode 17 will be in 30.10 so i was all ready thinking that i wont see the end =(
Now im so realived that i know the dates of the episodes (thanks Teru ^^)
And i so like this anime i allmost way crying then they broke up :’( was so sad and i was more sad when Yano’s friend were about to go out with Nanami
Dam ill be waiting all the days for the next episode ^_^ hoply that Yano and Nana will be allways together
