It needs moar ohmu though. :P @IKnight: Imagine Last Exile, only on a movie budget. It is indeed very impressive in that sense. @Hige: "all tits and no brains" lol. I can think of a few shows that fit that analogy. Sadly this is one of them - it's not a 'thinking fan's anime', that's for sure! There's also a lot of potential for a Spot the Nausicaa Reference drinking game to play while watching, although it borrows ideas from others too. The second GitS film taught a valuable lesson in how flash doesn't compensate for inadequacies elsewhere.
