So the female protag will only be narrating on intermission chapters? And also, why is she nameless? I can understand the guy protag being nameless. Sometimes I confused which 'she' they're talking about, especially in chapter 3.

I have an 1980 artist". Ilove it & would part with my 2009 les paul custom before I would my artist. I used a 72 Gibson sg (2) mini humbuckers sence i was about 17 .I'm 49 now". I had no idea where i was lacking untill i bought the Paul. It's very full body of tone & even balances from string to string no matter witch pickup select or effect it is going through handed instant authority to every thing it toutched. I use a guitar once a week or more & after all these years i decided to buy my sport car (Les Paul).
Then i got this old beat up black with white binding artist for 400 & it is every thing & more than the 4000 coustom is. If I had bought the artist first,, I can't say i would have spent that kind of $$ on another guitar. I would give up my coustom ...My 68 Rickenbacker... my 72 SG before i would part with my magic sound maker. This guitar makes Me sound impressive"

The official site features a reissue of the 1985 'whiteface', which uses the original type of chip so I'm sure it sounds identical to the originals. There's no LED indicator though and, more importantly, it's a limited production run. This means they're going for over twice the price of what Mike charged me...madness! I've no idea why they're being made in limited numbers...or indeed why Proco stopped offering pedals fitted with the LM308s in the first place. The sound quality's subjective of course, but there are enough fans out there who would prefer them built that way.

At the moment my 'board has three distortions: the Blues Driver for semi-cleans and beefing up my Squier's weak pickups; the RAT for my main distortion; and the Fab Tone for the really high-gain fuzz moments. The Big Muff is off there for the time being since I find its sound to be a one-trick pony...I might ask Mike if he's able to build one with separate treble and bass controls. A '78 IC Muff clone to nail the Siamese Dream rhythm sound perhaps.

I'm curious what ProCo is selling as the "Retro RAT" and how it compares to these hand-assembled retro-izing mods.

How many of those pedals on your board are overdrives and distortions, anyway? :D

We bought a replacement tv, recently, and are now getting visits from an enforcement officer; this according to letters posted by hand; the letter informed that they will 'call again'.

Our TV Licence is valid until the 30th November, 2010, so someone has, obviously, got their information wrong as, according to their notification, they are, apparently unaware of this. Unfortunately, I cannot deal with this until after the Bank Holiday.

Can anyone tell me who employs these so-called enforcement officers?

Thanks,
Jan.

HELLO!

I also have a Fender Squire Bullet equal to yours.
More or less the same year. I'm not quite sure but it must have been acquired in 1987, 1988 or 1989.

I've been repairing it and I encountered the problem of electric connection. I have little knowledge in this area and what we've looked at the page of the Fender did not satisfy me. I did not find the schema of the Fender Squire.

I wonder if I can give help in this regard?!

Thanks;
Yours sincerely:
Paulo De Figueiredo

I'm past the age where I listen to a lot of rock, and I never cared much for loud distorted stuff, but one of my last forays into that field was Loveless. Absolutely love it. I think partly for the same reason why I liked Sonic Youth's Swimsuit Issue: "I had no idea guitars could DO that!"

A decade later I still love the album, and my favorite song on it changes every time I listen to it. Glorious noise!

I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, but I can appreciate the desire to rescue an old friend and the research and obviously painstaking craftwork you did to rescue it. Congrats! Sometimes, projects like this are enough to keep us going in life.
